Tribal members and their spouses are entitled to a $4,000.00 burial benefit. The benefit may be applied toward costs associated with funeral expenses, internment and/or headstone. The benefit is paid direct to the provider of services upon receipt of an original death certificate and invoice or contract from the provider of services. The death certificate is photocopied and the original is returned to the sender.
