February 6 General Council moved to Seven Feathers

The location of the February General Council meeting of the Board of Directors of the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians has been moved.

The Board had originally planned to meet in the Board chambers at the Roseburg Tribal Office as normal. However, due to quickly increasing numbers of new cases of COVID-19 in Douglas County, the Board decided to move the location of the meeting to the Grape/Huckleberry rooms of Seven Feathers Casino Resort. The Grape/Huckleberry rooms are located next to the Seven Feathers Hotel Front Desk.

The General Council meeting is open to all Cow Creek Tribal members. The meeting begins at 10AM.

Seven Feathers Convention space allows for adequate social distancing, and increased air ventilation. All attendees are still required to wear masks.

New cases of COVID-19 are the highest they have ever been in Douglas County during the course of the pandemic. A total of 194 new cases were reported to Douglas County Public Health on January 20, 2022.
